What a great opportunity to be part of an epic shoot with a group of fantastic local women!
During my former life as a designer of a bridal mag one of my fave things to do was help organise photo shoots. When the chance came up to work with an amazing local photographer (Prue Peters Photography) and do it again it was a no brainer – I was definitely in!!
What was the aim of shoot?
Originally we were organising the shoot to give one of my social media clients images to use on their new website and social media. During our planning it grew bigger and bigger and we had more goals – to give all the businesses involved more social media exposure and to showcase what our region has to offer. We also wanted to show people that weddings that are a little different and on trend are available in our area.
Organising a photo shoot of this size and coordinating a large group of businesses is pretty full on but I loved every minute of it! I work with a lot of businesses in the fashion and wedding industry so this was a chance to work with a lot of my current and past clients (and get to know some other local businesses).
The shoot was a huge success and #gvbridetribe was born. Stay tuned we have lots of future plans....
If you are thinking of organising a shoot for your biz to get some great images to use on your social media and website and need some advice get in touch. I'd love to offer some tips to help you out – or I could even organise it for you!
